Providing guidance and education to the youth and adults of St. Joseph County and administering programs to preserve, improve, and protect soil, water, air, plant, and animal resources for future generations.

2014 Conservation Donor Program

Our mission focuses on improving our soil and water resources, promoting and expanding wildlife and woodland areas, and continuing to provide innovative and quality educational programs to the members of our diverse community. We are a subdivision of state government, and we do receive some (though very limited) funding from federal, state, local and private entities to implement projects that specifically benefit St. Joseph County. However, we must also work very hard to raise funds and encourage conservation efforts through our annual tree seedling sale, our rain barrel and composter sale, and by providing a wide range of in-school programs to over 20,000 youth annually. As well, the continued tax-deductible charitable giving of our annual donors has allowed us to inspire agricultural producers, landowners, wildlife lovers, gardeners, young people, and others who value the sustainable use of our natural resources. If you think you would be interested in helping support the mission of our organization please look over our donor program flyer. These financial contributions are tax deductible and your donations benefit St. Joseph County. We thank all of our past donors and hope that you will consider giving your support to help improve St. Joseph County's natural resources!
