National Park Service 100th Birthday Blog by Munsell Color Company celebrates Soil and Soil Color

August 25th, 2016 marked the 100 year anniversary of the National Park Service in the United States. In celebration of this historic event, Munsell Color Company showcased the beautiful soil colors of the parks with their weekly blog, using an excellent article written by Sue Southard, NSSC, Davis, CA. As NRCS Soils liaison to the National Parks, she was uniquely qualified to be their first Soils expert in this web blog series. Take a look at the article “The Soil Colors of the National Parks, 100 Years of Conservation & Soil Science”. http://munsell.com/color-blog/soil-colors-national-parks-anniversary/
