Hi, my name is Jane Sablich and I am the new Environmental Education Coordinator at the SWCD. I currently live with my husband, Christian, in Mishawaka. Some of my favorite hobbies include kayaking, hiking, traveling when I am able, and snuggling on the couch with my pets. I graduated college from Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Most of my experience comes from working at different zoos, providing programs and events for their education departments. Even though my passion started with animals, it has truly expanded into being outside, conservation, environmental science, and being green. Sharing my knowledge on these subjects is something I really enjoy and I look forward to doing them as a part of the SWCD team! My experience gives a great base for this position and I look forward to learning more while serving St. Joseph County.
